Dear visitors, we are Annemarie and Cees Rombouts and we live with our 3 young adults, two cats and of course our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks Kumba and Niya in Aalsmeer. While orientated if the Rhodesian Ridgeback would fit within our family, we first met Nike at the Rhodesian Ridgeback Specialty of the RRCN in September 2018. Due to her enthusiasm and open honesty about the breed we decided if we wanted a Ridgeback it should come from OHINIYA. And so said and done we welcomed our first Ohiniya dog Kumba at the end of 2018. Same as with Nike, we got infected with the Ridgeback virus and would love to have a companion for Kumba. In December 2021 our girl Niya came into our lives and fulfilled our dream. Both Kumba and Niya have a wonderful mind of their own, true Rhodesian Ridgebacks. We never ever have one dull moment with them and cannot imagine one day without them. Once a Ridgeback always  a Ridgeback.

With Niya we hope to have a litter in future and as well to set down the true Rhodesian Ridgeback type; independent, aloof to strangers, loyal to the family, a faithful friend, very intelligent and stable of character with powerful athletic bodies.

Together with Nike, we are very proud to represent Rhodesian Ridgeback kennel OHINIYA and to maintain this breed. Kennel Ohiniya is a member of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Netherlands and also affiliated to the Dutch Kennel Club, the FCI and breeding accordingly their regulations.
